There are a few weapons created by the people of
Arrea. They are generally specialized forms of existing weapons.
Great
Hammer- The dwarven great hammer is a mighty weapon created by the
priesthood of Moradin.
It is basically a small block of steel on top of a mighty shaft,
typically wood. It is basically a maul. A priest of Moradin with the War domain
can use the great hammer as a martial weapon.
Mauler: A
mauler is a great crossbow created solely for damage potential.
The mauler fires two bolts per shot, both bolts get a to-hit roll at -5,
but they must be firing at the same target.
If both bolts hit a man-sized target or smaller, the target must roll a
Reflex save (DC = damage dealt) or be knocked prone. When fired a mauler needs
to be held in two hands and even in two hands it is difficult to aim properly
(all attacks are -5). The best way to fire a mauler is with a stand to hold it
up and allow you to aim it (this makes the attacks -2). The mauler is a dwarven
weapon.
