F.O.D.D.E.R.

The Fraternal Order of Dungeoneers, Dangerseekers, Explorers, and Rogues is a prestigious adventurers guild based in the city of Xraxus. Known only as the Order by its members, this guild is a combination of mercenary guild, social club, and information repository.

Brief History

The Order was founded in 1386 by Lord Gareth Van Nostram. Van Nostram was a wealthy socialite who enjoyed delving into the corridors of the Xrax. He was a successful dungeoneer and brought many artifacts to the surface. Since Gareth was traveling the subterranean depths for thrills and he was already wealthy, he built Grenholm Place as a guildhall where people of like mind could gather, share stories, and display historical artifacts. The Order has become a powerful presence in Xraxus and its members are an often tapped resource for the defense of the city.

Motivation & Goals

Members of the Order have many different motivations: greed, the preservation of history, or just the search for adventure.

The Order doesn't recruit. It is a completely volunteer organization.

All of the official Xraxan authorities are counted as allies.

Enemies

Although the Order is an innocuous group, many individuals hold grudges against Order members. The relationships built within the Order ensure that these enemies often become enemies of the Order.
