Alairien Greenhollow grew up in a small village in the Eareth Arm. His father is an armorer, but Alairien didn’t want to follow in his footsteps, so he decided to leave the forest to seek his fortune.

He traveled to the south and ended up in the city of Star in the country of Leonay. Alairien was naïve and awestruck by the sights outside of the forest. In Star, he met a group of adventurers consisting of a young ranger named Golana Redrum, a mysterious monk named Sebastian, a bard named Buckminster A. Cheatum, and a rogue known only as Remi. They needed fighting help, so they were willing to let him travel with them, as long as he could hold his own.

Although this group was made up of people of low moral fiber, Alairien decided to stay with them since they made him feel wanted and he didn’t want to be alone. As time went on, Alairien found himself “looking the other way” a lot as his companions went about their business. Alairien was very close to leaving the group when he was attacked by a werewolf and infected with lycanthropy.

His first full moon he killed two innocents and was sent running by a spell cast by Buckminster. After becoming a werewolf, Alairien began to act much different than he had before. He began eating meat that he didn’t kill himself and when his companions did something that would have bothered him before- he didn’t care. He fell into depression.

He enjoyed the traveling, the fighting, and the wealth accumulated from their adventures, but he wasn’t real happy with his companions. They did work well together, however, so he continued to travel with them and save his gold so he could leave and make his way alone.

The group began having Alairien deal with the merchants to sell the items that they came across in their adventures. Alairien decided that he would reach his goal much quicker if he took a larger cut of the money when he sold items. None of the group noticed and Alairien ended up with a small fortune.

Currently, the group has gone their own way. Sebastian and Buckminster opened “Sebastian’s”, a large inn/tavern on the road between Star and Ravenna. Remi and Golana are living in the same area. Alairien has packed all of his possessions and started traveling north…
