Session 26: Starfall

As the group traveled back to Smallstone Keep, they noticed a bright light in the sky. At first it was just a curiousity, but the light quickly grew. The group started to realize that the light was moving. Over several hours the light grew larger and brighter, eventually filling the sky and bathing the group in pale white light. The object flew through the air, traveling from the northwest towards the southeast. As the group approached Smallstone, they spied a bright flash in the distance as the object crashed to the surface.

The collected group met in the keep, discussing the object that fell from the sky when Moburu appeared in the gatehouse and told them that everyone should prepare to leave because a huge tidal wave was traveling straight for them. Fortunately almost all of the group's combined wealth was contained in the cavern beyond the magic mirror. The group was able to ready themselves quickly and Moburu produced a scroll with the spell teleportation circle to open a teleportation portal to the city of Ravenna in Leonay.

The group arrived in Ravenna and within a couple days news began to arrive about the devastating wave that struck the coast. Alranda was having problems with enormous creatures roaming through the city, most of the wooden buildings had been destroyed and thousands had drowned.

The group decided that they were needed in Alranda far more than in Ravenna. They traveled to Alranda, hoping to help keep the peace in the ravaged city. Once in the city, the group split into four groups. Three groups made a foray into the city and the final group stayed at home base, guarding their supplies.

Two of the skirmishing groups had an uneventful tour of the city, but the third skirmishing group was attacked by some enormously overgrown animals. The group consisting of Bannor, Allister, Alisnier, Flynn, and Flerg fought and defeated two dire elk and two gargantuan spiders. Flynn had been poisoned by the spiders, so the group searched for a place to rest. A local shop owner gave the group a place to rest and recover overnight.
