Session 22b: Quelorl
Bannor, Chiranjeev, Astaria, Garsh, and Taylor stepped through Falon Gareth’s gate emerging on the rocky coast of Quelorl. Falon had told them to follow the coast west until they reach a river emptying into the sea. Follow the river north until you reach a small town called Riverton. Moburu lives in Riverton.
The group traveled into the night, searching for a suitable campsite to rest for the night. Just as they decided to settle in for the night, they spotted a campfire in the distance. Figuring that it would be beneficial to befriend some of the locals, the group approached the campsite. Hailing the campers before getting too close, the group startled the elf and man who were quietly chatting, while cooking a stew.
The travelers invited the group to join them. When the group stepped into the firelight, the travelers were taken aback by the ghastly visages of the half-undead heroes. Their fear was quickly diffused by some fast talk by the group. The travelers introduced themselves as Armoghast and Hatch. They were in the wilderness looking for adventure.
The group explained that they were looking for Riverton and Armoghast and Hatch offered to lead them to the town.
The next day as the group traveled along the coast, Bannor spotted a form just over a rise. He signaled the rest of the group just as the creatures sprung their trap. There were two ten foot tall humanoids covered in scales, bony ridges, and spines. As they crested the hill, they were followed by a small triceratops. Bannor and Chiranjeev each attacked one of the humanoids while the rest of the group attacked the triceratops. Although the scaled stalkers were tough, they were no match for Chiranjeev and Bannor. After they defeated the scaled stalkers, they helped the rest of the group defeat the triceratops. After that small skirmish the group continued on their way, not realizing that they were headed straight towards Smallstone Keep.
